Status note (verified 6 November 2026, evening IST): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the Date Sheet for Class X and Class XII Board Examinations, 2027 on its official website. This article explains what is confirmed from the official notice, how to download the PDF safely, and how to use the timetable without falling for fake links.
What CBSE has officially confirmed
On 6 November 2026, CBSE listed “Date Sheet for Class X and Class XII Board Examinations, 2027” under Latest updates on https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html. The accompanying official letter (reference CBSE/Date Sheet/X-XII/2026-27, dated 06.11.2026) states that:
- Board examinations will commence from 16 February 2027 (Tuesday).
- Class X candidates will appear in 83 subjects and Class XII candidates in 121 subjects.
- Examinations covered by this Board date sheet commence at 10:30 a.m.
CBSE also notes that the date sheet is being released well in advance so schools and students can plan. For subject-wise dates, always open the official PDF rather than screenshots circulating on messaging apps. Class X and Class XII timetables appear in the same PDF package—open the section that matches your class.

Who should download this date sheet
- Class 12 (Senior Secondary) students appearing in Board Examinations 2027.
- Class 10 students, because the same PDF package covers Class X as well.
- Parents and school exam coordinators who need one official file for planning.
If you study under UP Board, this CBSE file does not replace UPMSP schedules. Use it only if your school is CBSE-affiliated. For UP Board pathways, start from https://fizoic.com/up-board/ and verify on the official UP Board site.
How to download the official CBSE date sheet PDF

- In “Latest @ CBSE”, find the item titled Date Sheet for Class X and Class XII Board Examinations, 2027 dated 06/11/2026.
- Download the PDF from the CBSE link (file size shown on the site is about 4.48 MB).

Document URL observed on the CBSE site: https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/documents/Datesheet_ClassX%20_XII_2027_Main_06112026.pdf — if a redirect or filename spacing differs, prefer clicking the homepage listing rather than random short links.
How to read the Class 12 timetable without mistakes
- Search the PDF for your exact subject name and subject code as registered in school records.
- Note each paper’s date and the 10:30 a.m. start stated in the official letter for these Board examinations.
- Check clashes only against your own subject combination, and confirm your personal list with your school.
- Practical, project, and internal assessment timelines can differ by school. CBSE publishes separate guidance when needed—for example, a 5 November 2026 circular on practical/project/internal assessment for winter-bound schools appears on the same CBSE updates list. Do not assume theory dates automatically cover practicals.
Planning tips after the date sheet
- Map every theory paper on a calendar, then place revision blocks backward from 16 February 2027.
- Keep buffer days before heavier papers instead of cramming the night before.
- Align sample-paper practice with the official order of subjects.
- For study-resource organisation ideas, see https://fizoic.com/study-material/.
Common pitfalls and fake-link risks
- Telegram or Instagram “date sheet PDFs” that ask for logins, payments, or APK downloads.
- Edited images that change a subject date. If a viral graphic disagrees with the CBSE PDF, trust the PDF.
- Confusing the 2027 Board date sheet with older supplementary or special examination sheets still visible in CBSE archives.
- Assuming admit cards are out because the date sheet is out. Admit cards follow a separate process—see https://fizoic.com/admit-card/.
What this page does not claim
We do not republish the entire multi-page subject grid here. The official scanned PDF is the authority for each subject date. We also do not invent practical schedules, centre notices, or pass criteria.
