Windows 11 Laptop Won’t Sleep Properly: Checks Worth Trying

You close the lid, walk to class, and come back to a hot laptop with a drained battery. Or Sleep seems to start, then the machine wakes itself on the desk. Windows 11 sleep problems are common on student laptops, and most fixes are settings checks—not mystical repairs.

Confirm what “not sleeping” looks like
